Air Liquide –– This French company makes and sells industrial gasses including hydrogen, which can be used to remove sulfur from fuels and to power fuel cells. Reportedly, more than half of the company’s research and development is directed toward fuel cells and other new energy sources, plus also energy efficiency and cleaner fuel consumption. The company is involved in carbon capture and sequestration projects in the U.S. and France. |
