Aisin Seiki Co. – As a major manufacturer and distributor of car parts including transmissions and vehicle monitoring systems, this Japanese company is an important part of the global auto industry’s drive to build more efficient vehicles. Information technology is becoming an increasingly important way to improve not only the efficiency but also the safety of car and trucks, and Aisin is part of a group led by Toyota involved in the development of software to meet these goals.
