Methanex Corp. – This Canadian company makes and sells methanol. Among other activities, the company has an agreement with a Chinese firm to supply methanol for DME (dimethyl ether) production. DME can be used as a clean-burning fuel additive for vehicles as well as for power generation. Methanol can also be used to make a variety of everyday products, such as paints and adhesives. |
