Neste Oil –– Neste is a Finnish oil refiner and marketer that is active in developing advanced biofuels. Its so-called NExBTL biofuel is a second generation biodiesel similar to diesel made from fossil fuel. Neste, which reportedly is 50.1% owned by the Finnish government, has, according to press reports, designs on becoming one of the biggest biodiesel companies in the world in addition to being a major oil refiner. |
