Power Air Corp. –– This California-based fuel cell developer received an Excellence in Technology Award in April 2007 from noted consulting company Frost & Sullivan for its work on zinc air fuel cells. According to Frost & Sullivan, zinc air fuel cells power generators that can be used indoors instead of batteries and hydrogen fuel cells. One advantage of zinc air fuel cells is said to be that the zinc oxide created can be recycled back into reusable zinc fuel. |
